One of my favorite hymns is For the Beauty of the Earth. The lyrics expound on the beauty that is all around us!

God has indeed given us a beautiful place to live, and we should be eternally grateful! Many days we get so caught up in the hubub of daily life that we forget how wonderful this world actually is.

We should set aside each day a little time to appreciate this amazing gift! Watch a flock of birds in flight, pay attention to the sunrise or sunset, say a quiet prayer of thanksgiving for the beauty that is all around us.
